Lauren Barwick invites you to become an Intern at her Bridging the Gap Farm.

There are a few things in this world Lauren Barwick enjoys as much as riding, but teaching is one of them. She has dedicated her life to gaining a deep and whole understanding of the horse. But what use is such knowledge if not shared? So, for those equestrians who desire complete immersion in the equine world become a Lauren Barwick Intern.

Lauren is looking for Working Students for June, July, August and September. If interested email or give her a call!

She will help you achieve your goals by teaching you to become a well rounded, highly capable, and independent equestrian; and how to develop a deep understanding and partnership with the horse. This is done by integrating Parelli Natural Horsemanship and Dressage instructions with the chance to gain exposure and experience in the many facets of the equine world. Opportunities for Lauren’s Interns are as diverse as they are limitless—from observing her work with Pat and Linda at their ranch to accompanying her to International shows.

But like any internship and learning opportunity, you get out of it what you put in.

Lauren is looking for hard working students, who are self-motivated, self-sufficient, open-minded, and team players. Duties include but are not limited to feeding, mucking, grooming, tacking, horse care, harrowing fields and arena, property maintenance and projects, and assisting me when needed (i.e. at horse shows, trips to Pat and Linda’s ranch, etc.). In return, you will receive housing, board for your horse (feed and hay not included), about 4 lessons a week (in Horsemanship, Dressage, Refinement, Specialization). And help in goal setting and planning, mentoring, as well as all the opportunities offered by being a part of the Lauren Barwick team.
